Travertine Striato
The “Striato”, known also like “ Striato Romano”, is a type of travertine from the clear and warm colors, with gangs of color that crossthe stone in the sense of the length, it must necessarily has to be cut in vein for better exalting her its characteristics. Extracted in the travertine’s quarries of Tivoli and Guidonia Montecelio, (Rome, Italy) the “Striato” finds an ample use in coverings and linear floorings ,it can be worked out with brushed and “anticato” finishes its structure and its colors make it proper. The “Striato” roman travertine can have different types of finishes: it can be worked out with shiny, smoothed , brushed , bushhammered,it can be filled up with transparent resin and mastic. The “Striato” roman travertine is available in blocks, slabs and tiles.
